Quranic Sciences, Main Theme of Books Presented by Iran at Frankfort Book Fair

Managing Director of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute Mohammad Azimi made the remark in an interview with IQNA, adding that a manuscript copy of the Quran dating back of the Gorkani era (6 centuries ago) was unveiled at this edition of the book fair.


He said nearly 300 Iranian publishers attended the book fair this year presenting their works in fields such as religion, culture, arts, and literature.


He said Iran’s pavilion organized two special sections one featuring the literature of resistance and the event and culture of Ashura. “Special attention was also paid to the issue of the Persian Gulf.”


Azimi noted that the main section in Iran’s pavilion featured religious and Quranic works, adding that the books in this section were received very well.


According to the official 33 Iranian publishers that publish books in the genre of the Holy Defense also presented their works at the book fair.


Azimi went on to say that Iran’s pavilion in the book fair gifted books to the Islamic Center of Hamburg at the end of the fair.
